A quartermaster may be responsible for steering a ship or the provision of supplies. Like a handful of other distillers, we choose to steer a Rye Whisky away from being predominantly made from corn to being made from 100% Ontario-grown rye with no sweeteners or colouring agents as one would expect it to be.
Nose: Brown sugar, vanilla and spices.
Palate: Characteristic spice of rye, oak, straw, toffee, bright citrus, and a lingering pepper finish.
