Finally, you can make your own Butterfly Pea Flower Syrup! Any longtime Crosscut fan has had the infamous Butterfly Tears cocktail. Almost too pretty to drink, but once you do, you can't have just one. Now you can make the syrup to recreate it at home.
Bring to boil 1 cup of water and 5 flowers. Let simmer until a deep blue colour. Strain the flowers out, and stir in 1 cup of white sugar. Simmer until dissolved and let cool.
