Crosscut Distillery's Fall 2025 Final Cut Whisky release. This whisky is a play on the 9% rule in Canada which permits distillers to blend 9% of another spirit (or wine) with whisky while retaining the whisky designation. In this case, Crosscut has blended its 4-year old 100% corn whisky (aged on new oak) with its small batch 3-year barrel aged rum creating an unsweetened love child from American bourbon and Canadian rum parents.
