The Machinist is a Canadian whisky that transforms what we harvest from the Canadian Shield so that we can cut, mill and grind it into a complex and precise product. On the nose, be prepared for the smell of campfires from bush parties and the slightest hint of a musty arena lobby. On the pallet, you will get fall maple leaves, beaver tails and porchetta, with lingering notes of flannel. Made from Northern Ontario's finest grains and aged with a barrel rumored to have been made from the floorboards of an old camp, it's polite enough to sip and wild enough to stir trouble. Sorry.

Final proof: 80 / 40% ABV
Barrelled in ex-bourbon cask
Unsweetened / Caramel has not been used for coloring or sweetening, resulting in a straw-coloured, lightly sweet whisky.

Corn, Rye, Malt
Nose: Honey, sweet corn, green apple and fresh oak
Palate: Caramelized sugar, light oak, sweet grain, apricot and pepper
Finish: Medium finish with mild spice, oak and wood tannins
