Crosscut Distillery comes out on top in the Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition this February, 2023 with seven of their handcrafted spirits. Artisan Distillers Canada hosts this competition celebrating distilleries from all across Canada. A panel of judges who exemplify knowledge and vast experience with spirits and a strong influence in the industry conducted a blind tasting evaluating spirits on nose, palate, finish, and quality. Crosscut Distillery’s Clockwork Four Grain Whisky, Quartermaster 100% Rye Whisky and Triple Grain Vodka placed Gold which represents an excellent example of style and is considered a rare honour. Following closely behind is Crosscut’s Local Harvest Gin, Cut & Dry Gin, and Barrel Aged Aquavit with Silver medals, and their Cherry Gin with a Bronze medal.
